Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and passionate Commi 1 – Neapolitan Pizza Maker to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas, managing dough preparation, and working with traditional ovens. This role demands precision, consistency, and a dedication to maintaining the highest culinary standards. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage Neapolitan pizza dough including mixing, fermenting, portioning, and stretching. Cook pizzas using a traditional wood-fired or stone oven, ensuring authentic taste and texture. Maintain consistency in recipes, portion sizes, and presentation. Ensure all pizza ingredients (sauces, cheese, toppings) are prepped, fresh, and available for service. Uphold hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen. Clean and maintain workstations, equipment, and ovens daily. Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to improve recipes and maintain quality. Monitor inventory of pizza ingredients and communicate requirements to the kitchen manager.
