Job Description

 Responsibilities Food Preparation: Washing, chopping, peeling, and preparing ingredients for dishes according to precise instructions and established standards.  Cooking Assistance: Assisting senior chefs in cooking and assembling dishes, ensuring accurate portion sizes.  Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, equipment, and utensils, as well as adhering to personal hygiene standards.  Stock Management: Monitoring inventory, assisting with deliveries, proper storage of ingredients, and identifying and discarding expired food.  Health and Safety: Enforcing health, safety, and hygiene standards, including food labeling, dating, temperature checks, and following cleaning schedules.  Kitchen Support: Performing various duties as needed, such as assisting on other sections of the kitchen or helping during busy periods or emergencies.  Learning and Development: Working to gain experience in different culinary areas, such as pastry, butchery, or specific cuisine sections.
