Job Summary

Oriental Cuisines Pvt Ltd is looking for a passionate and dedicated Continental Commis to join our culinary team in Chennai. We welcome both freshers and experienced candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the world of continental cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality continental dishes, following recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare and organize ingredients, such as chopping, slicing, and marinating, as required.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Manage and restock kitchen inventory as directed by the chef.
• Safely and properly use and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Manage waste efficiently and maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Requirements

• Freshers are welcome to apply; prior experience in a hotel or restaurant specializing in continental cuisine is a plus.
• Culinary certification or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interest in continental cuisine and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A positive and proactive attitude towards learning and development.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month
