Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commi 1 at The Lalit Hotels, located in Mumbai. As a Commi 1, you will handle food preparation, cooking, and ensure hygiene standards are maintained. You will assist senior chefs in preparing and managing ingredients, ensuring dishes are crafted with precision and consistency. Additional responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, organizing inventory, and adhering to food safety regulations.

• Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking techniques
• Proficiency in Culinary Skills with a focus on quality and consistency
• Knowledge of Hygiene standards and practices in a professional kitchen
• Good Communication abilities to work effectively in a team
• A passion for culinary arts and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tasks efficiently
• Formal culinary training or certification is a plus
• Experience in a professional kitchen is desirable
