The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering department, including managing staff, budgets, and projects. Daily tasks include maintaining facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with contractors, troubleshooting issues, and planning preventative maintenance schedules. The role also involves ensuring that all engineering operations align with property standards, safety procedures, and operational protocols. Qualifications Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills Experience in managing engineering teams and projects Knowledge of safety, compliance, and maintenance protocols Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field Professional engineering license (PE) is preferred
