Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation & Cooking:
  • Assist in preparing and cooking continental dishes according to the menu and specific recipes.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
  • Help with garnishing, plating, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Maintain proper cooking techniques for all continental items, adhering to portion sizes and quality standards.
  • Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and workstations, following health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Properly store and label food ingredients, ensuring they are handled and stored according to food safety guidelines.
  • Stock Management & Ingredient Prep:
  • Assist in preparing ingredients for use in dishes (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating proteins).
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels and notify the supervisor when ingredients need replenishing.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene protocols during the preparation of food items.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Participate in team briefings and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
  • Learning & Skill Development:
  • Take initiative in learning new cooking techniques and enhancing knowledge of continental cuisine.
  • Observe and assist senior chefs in their daily tasks to gain knowledge and experience.
  • Show a willingness to learn and improve cooking skills, as well as other aspects of kitchen management.
  • Quality Control & Standards:
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the restaurant’s standard.
  • Maintain a keen eye on quality control, ensuring consistency in food appearance, taste, and presentation.
  • Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
