Commercial Executive - Plant

Key Deliverables of the Role

Commercial Hygiene

• Periodic tracking of Open line items, ledger scrutiny and reconciliations, periodic provisioning.
• Monthly books closure within timelines
• Preparation of routine manufacturing MIS like MORs/freight trend analysis
• Trend review of prices to identify opportunities

Procurement & Commercial Operations

• Collaborate with the procurement/production team for commercial support and negotiations.
• Participate in vendor negotiations and purchase finalizations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Support purchase-related documentation and compliance.

Inventory & Scrap Management

• Oversee scrap management processes and ensure alignment with scrap norms
• Coordinate periodic stock takes and validate variances with production and SCM teams.
• Analyze and report stock discrepancies with corrective action recommendations.
• Monitor and execute FSNE provisioning activities based on production inputs.

BOM & Master Data Governance

• Analyse Bill of Materials (BOM) data and build efficiencies basis actual usage
• Drive process for marking outdated or inactive BOMs as dormant.
• Coordinate and control BOM change approvals with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and process product master changes in coordination with production, SCM, and quality teams.

Asset/Purchase Accounting

• Manage asset accounting and ensure timely capitalization of project-related assets.
• Track and support closure of open purchase orders with relevant departments

Other Functional Interfaces

• Internal Procurement, Supply Chain, NPD, Production, brand
• External – Vendors, Scrap Customers, contract manufacturing locations

Key Skills & experience

• Experience: 4 -5 years in a manufacturing environment
• Strong Proficiency in SAP systems (esp FI, MM and CO module) MS Excel, Power point
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Strong stakeholder management
• Candidate having earlier exposure of working in plants would be preferable
• Preferably from FMCG industry with experience of managing contract manufacturing

Educational Qualification:

• ICWA/CMA - Semi qualified
