Role Overview: As a Comis Chef at Peak Plates, you will be an integral part of our inaugural kitchen team, dedicated to preparing customized, dietitian-driven meal plans for our subscription-based service. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Head Chef in daily food production tasks such as cleaning, chopping, and preparing ingredients according to recipes and dietary guidelines. - Follow complex recipes and portion control standards set by our in-house dietitian to ensure precise nutritional specifications for each meal. - Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation for all subscription meals. - Help with receiving and storing raw materials, as well as tracking inventory to minimize waste. - Strictly adhere to kitchen safety procedures and sanitation standards to uphold a clean and safe working environment. - Must be available to start immediately to support the company launch and meet initial subscription orders. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a professional kitchen is a plus, but freshers with a relevant culinary diploma/certificate (e.g., ITI, catering school) are encouraged to apply. - Basic understanding of cooking methods, kitchen equipment operation, and familiarity with basic nutritional concepts. - Strong attention to detail, especially in measuring and portioning. - Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, timed production environment. - Excellent team player with good communication skills. - Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy objects. - Professional and dedicated attitude, willing to put in the effort required during the company launch phase.
