Collection Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a smart, enterprising and dynamic professional to manage our collections vendor network. This role requires excellent relationship management skills, operational oversight and the ability to ensure smooth execution of collection strategies through third-party vendors. The candidate will act as the key link between the company and its vendors, ensuring compliance, efficiency and performance delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee relationships with collection vendors/agencies.
• Onboard new vendors as per the business requirements.
• Customer visit to understand collection challenges on field.
• Conduct regular vendor visits to build strong working relationships and address on-ground challenges.
• Track, review, and evaluate vendor performance against defined KPIs.
• Ensure vendors comply with company policies, collection guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Collections, Business) to align vendor activities with business objectives.
• Identify and resolve operational issues between vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance vendor effectiveness and collection efficiency.
• Negotiate terms, review contracts and ensure cost-effectiveness in vendor management.
• Act as the first point of escalation for vendor-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2 to 5 years of experience in vendor management, preferably in collections/financial services/fintech/banking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to vendor locations as required.
• Self-starter with high ownership and accountability.
