Role Summary

Work across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to design data models, implement real-time ingestion, configure identity resolution, and orchestrate omni-channel journeys. Own end-to-end solutioning from data pipelines to activation, ensuring governance, privacy compliance, and measurable outcomes.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels)

  • Implement

    AEP data pipelines

    : Sources, datasets, XDM schemas, identity namespaces, and profile stitching.
  • Configure

    AEP RT-CDP

    : Segments, audiences, destinations (e.g., email/SMS, ad platforms), consent & governance controls.
  • Build

    AJO journeys & campaigns

    : Triggers, eligibility rules, orchestration logic, templates, personalization, experimentation.
  • Integrate

    event sources

    (Streaming, batch),

    Edge

    implementations, and

    decisioning

    .
  • Establish

    monitoring & QA

    : Data quality checks, segment population, journey performance, deliverability, error handling.
  • Collaborate with QA, Analytics, and Marketing Ops; document solutions & runbooks; provide L3 support.
  • Ensure

    privacy/compliance

    : Consent, opt-outs, data retention, PII handling, and regulatory adherence.
  • Optimize performance: throughput, latency, identity match rates, and downstream activation success.

    • Exposure to 23 end-to-end AEP/AJO implementations.
  • Senior Associate (79 years relevant)

    • Owns modules end-to-end: complex identity strategies, scalable segment logic, multi-channel orchestration.
    • Designs journey governance (eligibility, cooldowns), implements event-driven triggers.
    • Leads client workshops; mentors juniors; drives performance and reliability improvements.
  • Manager / Architect (910 years relevant)

    • Defines

      solution architecture

      and integration patterns across AEP, AJO, and martech stack.
    • Establishes standards for XDM modeling, identity hierarchy, audience framework, consent governance.
    • Owns stakeholder management, roadmap, and delivery; measures impact via KPIs (reach, uplift, conversion, CLV).
    • Guides cost/performance trade-offs; sets best practices and reviews.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

  • Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
