Coding Instructor (Frontend - Part Time)

Whizen is a next-generation tech academy offering live, interactive coding classes for students from Grades 1 to 12. Our project-based curriculum focuses on 💻 hands-on learning, 📚 conceptual clarity, and 🤝 personal attention. With structured programs for both junior and senior batches, we aim to transform curious learners into confident creators.

Role Overview

We are looking to hire part-time instructors to teach senior students (Grades 6–12 primarily and college students) at Whizen Academy. Instructors will begin with Level 1 – Basic Website Development, and based on performance, may move to higher levels. 

You will receive the teacher slide, student slide, and assignment slide in advance for each class. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering the class as per the given slides and schedule.
• Uploading class files and materials in the Google Classroom after each session.
• Answering student doubts in the designated WhatsApp group.
• Checking and reviewing assignments submitted by students.
• Sending class reminders to students before each session.

✨ Class Format

👩‍🏫 1:1 Classes: 1.5 hours per session (personalized learning)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Group Classes: 2 hours per session (peer learning format)

🌍 Location: Remote (Online)

⏰ Type: Part-Time (per class basis)

Mandatory Skills

✅ Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

✅ Experience with Git & GitHub

✅ Familiarity with Netlify (deploying and managing projects)

Preferred Skills

⭐ MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) – candidates with MERN stack experience will be given priority for our other course levels.

Requirements

📌 Minimum 1 year of professional teaching experience along with development experience

📌 Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and simplified way

📌 Strong communication (English) and classroom engagement skills

📌 Passion for teaching and mentoring students

📌 Comfortable with Zoom for online instruction
