Job Description

About the Role:

Code Craftsman

Software Design & Development:

Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code following SOLID and clean code principles.
Design and implement software solutions with attention to scalability, performance, and reliability.
Refactor legacy codebases to improve structure and readability.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Practice test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD).
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions.

Tools & Process Optimization:

Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD improvements.
Ensure code is well-documented and easy to onboard for other developers.
Help establish and maintain development guidelines and patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

Contributions to open-source projects or engineering blogs.
Familiarity with extreme programming (XP) practices.
Experience with microservices, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), or containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of functional programming or multiple paradigms.
Passion for mentoring and teaching others about clean code principles.
