CNC Programmer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our production team in VKI, Jaipur. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of CNC machines, tooling, and G-code programming. You will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs to support production targets and ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and edit basic CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for turning/milling machines.
• Operate CNC machines as required and perform program trials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining processes.
• Perform basic machine setups and tool offsets.
• Monitor machine operations and inspect finished parts using basic measuring instruments.
• Work with the production and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain proper documentation of programs and machine logs.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards during all operations.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC programming and operation.
• Basic knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools like vernier, micrometer, etc.
• Understanding of shop-floor safety practices.
• Willing to work in shifts if required.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with basic CAD/CAM software (optional).
• Exposure to production environments in automotive or metal industry.
