CNC Programmer

Role Overview: As a CNC Programmer Cum In charge, your main responsibility will be to program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. You will interpret engineering drawings, create CNC programs, and ensure the efficient and accurate operation of CNC machines. Key Responsibilities: - Create and optimize CNC programs based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications. - Select appropriate cutting tools, toolholders, and fixtures for each machining operation. - Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, securing workpieces, and selecting program offsets. - Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure quality and precision of machined parts. - Conduct in-process inspections and measurements to verify conformance to specifications. - Perform tool changes and adjustments as required during machining operations. - Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines. - Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling, and machine setup sheets. - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. - Train and mentor junior machinists and machine operators. - Supervise day-to-day operations of CNC machines. - Allocate manpower and manage shift schedules to ensure on-time production. - Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and productivity. - Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Design teams for smooth operations. - Maintain proper documentation and records. - Train and guide CNC operators and junior programmers. - Maintain 5S, safety, and discipline on the shop floor. Qualifications Required: - 8 to 10 years of experience in CNC programming. - Prior experience in CNC programming is preferred. Additional Details: The job type is permanent.
