Job Title : CNC Turning Operator Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Turning Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce high-quality parts as per specifications. The role demands precision, adherence to safety standards, and an ability to troubleshoot and ensure machine efficiency. Key Responsibilities : Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure accurate production. Select appropriate tools, attachments, and materials for the job. Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines and tools. Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Record production data and report any issues or defects to the supervisor. Ensure compliance with all safety and operational protocols. Continuously strive for process improvement and efficiency. Qualifications and Skills : Proven experience as a CNC Turning Operator or similar role. Familiarity with CNC turning machines and related software. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical schematics. Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials. Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and repair is an advantage. Team player with good communication skills. Education and Experience : Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or a related field. Minimum of [X] years of experience in CNC turning or machining (specific years can be adjusted as per employer's requirement). Work Environment : Working in a manufacturing or machining environment. Exposure to noise, lubricants, and machining equipment.
