CNC mastercam programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mastercam Programmer with expertise in 5-axis/multi-axis milling for precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with high-temperature metals and hands-on use of Mastercam (versions 2020–2023). Key Responsibilities:

• Program and set up CNC mills (5-axis/multi-axis) for high-precision manufacturing

• Create, modify, and optimise toolpaths using Mastercam software (2020–2023)

• Work with high-temperature alloys/metals, ensuring best machining practices

• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to meet complex design requirements
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate documentation for programs and machining processes
• Continuously improve machining strategies for efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC programming in a high-precision manufacturing environment

• Strong hands-on experience with Mastercam (preferred: 2020–2023)

• Expertise in 5-axis/multi-axis milling and programming

• Proven track record working with high-temperature metals (e.g., Inconel, titanium, stainless alloys)

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with process optimisation and continuous improvement methods
• Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, medical, etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of other CAM/CAD software is an advantage
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if required
