JOB TITLE: CNC OPERATOR (WOOD / MDF / PLYWOOD)
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Factory Manager
Job Summary
The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines for cutting, routing, drilling, and
shaping wood-based materials used in interior furniture and fit-out projects. The role ensures
accuracy, quality, and timely production as per design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines for wood, MDF, plywood, laminates, and boards
Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and cutting layouts
Set up CNC machines including tooling, fixtures, and materials
Ensure accurate cutting as per design dimensions and quality standards
Perform routine machine checks, calibration, and basic maintenance
Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot minor issues
Maintain production records and daily output reports
Follow safety guidelines and housekeeping standards in the workshop
Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams
Required Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of CNC machine operation (woodworking CNC preferred)
Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Aspire, VCarve, etc.)
Ability to read drawings and measurements accurately
Attention to detail and quality orientation
Basic machine maintenance and safety awareness
Qualification & Experience
ITI / Diploma in CNC / Mechanical / Wood Technology preferred
1–2 years of experience in CNC operation (interior / furniture industry preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
