CNC And VMC Machine Operator & Programmer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC & VMC Machine Operator and Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and programming CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor CNC and VMC machines to perform precision machining operations. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Program machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.). Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately. Perform part inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges). Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure product quality. Perform preventive maintenance and report any malfunctions or safety issues. Maintain accurate documentation of production data and machine settings. Collaborate with the quality control and engineering team to resolve technical issues. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment according to company standards. Qualifications & Skills: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machine operation and programming. Proficiency in G-code/M-code and CAD/CAM software. Strong knowledge of machining processes, tool selection, and cutting parameters. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T symbols. Familiarity with ISO/TS quality standards is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Experience: Experience in machining of [Steel / Aluminium / Plastic / Exotic Materials]. Prior experience in batch production or job-shop environments. Knowledge of FANUC, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers.
