We are seeking an experienced and strategic CMO to lead and develop our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2C e-commerce, a deep understanding of UK market trends, and proven expertise in managing multi-channel marketing teams. You will oversee various departments, including PPC, affiliate marketing, SEO, content writing, and email marketing, ensuring cohesive and effective campaigns to drive growth and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth within the UK and Ireland markets.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team, including PPC specialists, affiliate marketers, SEO experts, content writers, and email marketers.
  • Analyze market trends in the UK & Ireland to identify opportunities for growth and develop actionable insights for all marketing channels.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at driving business growth, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and brand expansion in the UK & Ireland.
  • Analyze market trends and customer behaviors in the UK & Ireland to identify growth opportunities. Use these insights to design marketing initiatives that not only meet customer needs but also drive substantial business growth.
  • Oversee the integration and alignment of all marketing channels to deliver a cohesive brand message and superior customer experience across PPC, affiliate, SEO, content, and email marketing, with a focus on maximizing business growth.
  • Continuously monitor marketing campaign performance using data-driven strategies to optimize ROI. Identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns and boost growth metrics such as customer base and revenue.
  • Drive brand awareness to ensure Fabel Services becomes the top choice for contact lenses, glasses, and sunglasses in the UK & Ireland, contributing to overall business growth.
  • Lead the team in adopting industry best practices, tools, and technologies to stay competitive and innovative, with a clear focus on accelerating business growth.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources effectively to maximize profitability and support the companys growth targets. Provide detailed performance and growth reports to senior leadership.
  • Lead the creation of compelling content that engages customers, builds trust, and drives organic growth, ensuring content strategies align with broader business growth objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats, adjusting marketing strategies to drive growth and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure marketing efforts contribute to wider business goals and directly support growth initiatives.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve website conversion rates, ensuring that customer acquisition efforts translate into business growth.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure all outsourced marketing efforts align with the company's growth strategy.
  • Ensure all marketing practices adhere to relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR compliance, while developing strategies to manage reputational risks and support long-term business growth.

Qualifications

12 to 15 years of experience and 5+ years of experience on a managerial role in the e-commerce industry, with a focus on B2C business models.

Proven expertise in the UK & Ireland markets, including knowledge of local marketing trends, consumer behaviors, and legal/regulatory considerations.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional marketing teams, particularly in PPC, affiliate marketing, SEO, content creation, and email marketing.

Experience in managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions to improve marketing performance.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving ambitious targets.

Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics software.

A creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative marketing strategies.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (master’s preferred)
