Job Title:

• Manage and operate CMM machines (Accurate, Mitutoyo, Hexagon, or equivalent).
• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM programs as per drawing specifications and GD&T requirements.
• Ensure timely inspection of new components, prototypes, and production parts.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Verify dimensional accuracy of components as per customer drawings and standards.
• Support PPAP, APQP, FAI, and validation activities with accurate CMM inspection reports.
• Maintain calibration and certification of CMM machines and measuring instruments.

3. Team Management & Training

• Lead a team of CMM operators and inspectors.
• Train team members on CMM operations, GD&T interpretation, and measurement techniques.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor performance for timely output.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain dimensional reports, inspection records, and calibration logs.
• Communicate inspection results with NPD, Quality, and Design teams.
• Maintain records for audits (ISO/IATF 16949, customer audits).

5. Continuous Improvement

• Analyze inspection data to identify recurring issues and support root cause analysis.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with NPD & Quality teams.
• Drive initiatives to reduce inspection cycle time and improve measurement accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Diploma or equivalent

• Experience:

  1012 years of experience in CMM operations, including programming and inspection.

• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GD&T, metrology, and quality standards (ISO, IATF).
• Hands-on experience with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS, etc.).
• Good leadership, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and MSA is preferred.

• Accuracy and timeliness of CMM inspection reports.
• Zero non-conformances in audits related to measurement.
• On-time support for new product development and PPAP submissions.
• Team competency and productivity in CMM operations.
