As a Cluster Optometrist at Lenskart, your role involves a unique blend of optometry and optical retail, focusing on enhancing the professional optometry skills of front end retail staff. You will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences by upholding high standards in key business metrics through your optometric expertise. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining eye test quality and dispensing standards in alignment with Lenskart norms. - Visit assigned stores in Lenskart uniform to oversee the technical and functional aspects of Lenskart stores - Act as a Mentor and Coach to Fresher Optometrists, providing guidance on sales pitch, technical dispensing, troubleshooting, and customer query handling - Step in as a store optometrist during peak hours, high sale days, or to cover shifts of absent colleagues, ensuring adherence to operational procedures such as eye tests, quality checks, merchandise management, and instrument calibration Recruitment and training will be a significant part of your role, involving welcoming new talent, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires. Regular reviews and training sessions will be conducted to enhance the performance of store staff and achieve business goals. Periodic audits of eye test and dispensing performance will also be necessary to maintain quality standards. You will serve as a Team Leader and Senior Optometrist, responsible for maximizing in-store revenue through continuous training, reviews, and increasing the number of eye tests conducted. Collaboration with the Business Team, participation in meetings, and maintaining proper documentation will also be key aspects of your role. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Optometry with a minimum of 3 years of retail experience - Strong knowledge in Optometry, Refraction, Eye Wear Products, Dispensing, and Measurements - Willingness to travel nationwide, passion for sales, retail, customer service, and training - Leadership qualities such as coaching, motivation, and effective communication - Proactive attitude, energy, and an entrepreneurial mindset,
