Cluster Head

Role Summary

The Cluster Head (Operations) will lead and oversee complete Operations & Maintenance activities for Unirail across multiple rail logistics projects and private railway sidings. This role requires strong expertise in KPI-driven project management, budgeting, manpower deployment, invoicing, client coordination and business development. The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership to ensure operational excellence, drive performance and contribute to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end O&M activities for all assigned project sites.
  
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, preventive maintenance schedules, safety standards and statutory requirements.
  
• Monitor daily operations and ensure continuity, reliability and service quality across sites.
  
• Present KPI reports and operational dashboards to management and clients.
  
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  
• Ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of client invoices and supporting documents.
  
• Maintain regular communication with clients and act as the primary escalation point.
  
• Identify new project opportunities, expansions and value-added services.
  
• Contribute to achieving annual business growth and revenue targets.
  
• Travel frequently to different O&M sites for reviews, audits, manpower oversight and client meetings.
  
• Provide on-ground leadership to resolve critical issues.
  
• Drive operational excellence, innovation and cost optimisation.
  
• Support top management in forecasting, planning and decision making.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics); MBA preferred.
  
• 10-15 years' experience in Operations & Maintenance in Rail Logistics / Private Railway Sidings.
  
• Strong knowledge of KPI-driven operations, budgeting, billing and team management.
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client- handling skills.
  
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
