Drive the growth and performance of the group loans portfolio across all branches within the cluster.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve cluster-level business targets, including disbursements, customer acquisition, and repayment rates.
Supervise and mentor branch managers and loan officers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer service and compliance.
Monitor portfolio quality and implement corrective actions to manage risks and minimize delinquencies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, community leaders, and local authorities.
Conduct regular branch visits to ensure operational consistency and provide on-ground support.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and refine strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical lending practices across the cluster.
Prepare and present detailed reports on cluster performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
6+ years of experience in microfinance, group lending, or financial services, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of group loan products, credit assessment, and community-based lending models.
Proven ability to manage teams and achieve business goals across multiple locations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in rural or underserved markets.
Familiarity with financial inclusion initiatives and socio-economic challenges affecting group lending.
Proficiency in regional languages to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
