Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-centric Cloud Solutions Architect to support presales engagements and delivery execution for our North American clients. This position requires working 2 PM - 10 PM IST to align with US business hours. The role demands deep AWS cloud architecture expertise with strong presales solutioning capabilities, while maintaining working knowledge of other cloud platforms and modern data/AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Solution Engineering

Engage with US-based enterprise customers to understand business objectives, technical challenges, and cloud transformation needs.

Design and propose AWS-native architectures across compute, storage, networking, and security.

Develop high-impact solution blueprints, technical proposals, and reference architectures tailored to client requirements.

Lead RFP/RFI responses, customer demos, and technical workshops.

Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to align solutions with business outcomes.

Conduct Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) to validate and de-risk proposed solutions.

Delivery & Execution

Ensure seamless transition of solutions from presales to delivery.

Provide technical leadership during project execution, including architecture reviews, implementation guidance, and troubleshooting.

Support cloud adoption best practices: performance tuning, cost optimization, and security compliance.

Act as a bridge between client stakeholders, delivery teams, and project managers.

Technical Expertise

Core Focus (AWS Cloud & Infra)

IaaS: EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, ELB, Auto Scaling

PaaS: RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora, Fargate, Step Functions

Security & SaaS: IAM, Organizations, WAF, GuardDuty, CloudTrail

Secondary Skills (lighter requirement)

Multi-Cloud Awareness: Azure (Synapse, AKS), GCP (BigQuery, GKE)

DevOps & Automation: Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines

Data & AI/ML Exposure: Data lakes, Redshift, Kinesis, Glue, Athena; basic familiarity with SageMaker, MLOps practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s/Master s in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

10+ years in IT with 5+ years in cloud architecture & presales/delivery roles.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (preferred).

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting to CXOs, architects, and engineering teams.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures.

Nice to Have

Industry vertical experience in finance, healthcare, or retail cloud transformations.

Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, AKS, GKE).

Exposure to MLOps frameworks (Kubeflow, MLflow).
