Description
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps team within the R&D department. In this role, you will help design, build, automate, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure to support global software delivery. You’ll work closely with cross-functional development and infrastructure teams to ensure efficient, secure, and high-performing cloud environments. As part of a global, Agile (SAFe) team, you will play a key role in developing next-generation cloud platforms and services that power innovative digital solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable and resilient Azure-based cloud infrastructure to meet project and business requirements. Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM , Bicep , or Terraform . Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using Azure DevOps . Work with global teams including developers, cloud architects, and domain specialists to create flexible and reusable cloud solutions. Manage AKS , Azure Functions , Logic Apps , Service Bus , and Cosmos DB as part of microservices infrastructure. Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash to streamline operational tasks. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability using tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights . Participate in an L3 24/7 on-call support rotation to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Support development teams with infrastructure needs and promote DevOps best practices. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps practices . Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform). Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes , especially with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) . Solid understanding of microservices architecture and serverless components (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.). Experience in DevOps automation , CI/CD pipelines , and deployment automation . Scripting experience in PowerShell or Bash . Experience in .NET Core/C# application environments (good to have). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Good to have: experience working on medical software projects or in regulated environments.
