AWS DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, etc.).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using

  Bash

  ,

  Python

  , or

  PowerShell

  for operations, deployments, and monitoring.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems using

  CloudWatch

  ,

  Datadog

  ,

  Prometheus

  , or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning through

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  tools like

  Terraform

  ,

  CloudFormation

  , or

  AWS CDK

  .
• Enforce security best practices (IAM policies, encryption, logging, patch management).
• Manage incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Support and enhance

  CI/CD pipelines

  using tools like

  Jenkins

  ,

  AWS CodePipeline

  ,

  GitHub Actions

  , etc.
• Monitor and optimize cost, performance, and resource utilization across environments.
• Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud workloads.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to high-priority alerts when necessary.

• AWS Certifications

  : AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect.
• Experience with
