Multi-Cloud Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, deploy and operate infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, Linode, etc.).
• Build, manage and scale container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM) and automation scripts.
• Operate VMs, manage virtualization, networking, load balancers, and storage for production workloads
• Troubleshoot cross-cloud networking, connectivity, latency and security issues.
• Work with developers (Node.js / React teams) to deploy and optimize applications for cloud environments.
• Document architecture, runbooks and cost/usage optimizations; participate in incident response and postmortems
• Evaluate new services and providers; contribute to multi-cloud strategy and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience with

  AWS and/or Azure

  plus at least one other provider (DigitalOcean, Linode, GCP, etc.).
• Practical experience with

  VMs, virtualization technologies, and datacenter concepts

  .
• Strong experience with

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

  (deployments, services, ingress, operators).
• Comfortable with

  networking

  (VPCs/VNETs, subnets, routing, firewalls, NAT, load balancers).
• Experience writing infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM or similar).
  Basic coding/scripting skills Node.js, Python, Bash or similar; able to read and modify app-level code or deployment scripts.
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills across platform, network and app layers.
• Clear documentation and communication skills, and experience working with developer teams.
  

Nice-to-have

• Experience with

  observability

  tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, NewRelic).
• Experience with

  CI/CD

  tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Security / IAM expertise, encryption, secrets management (Vault, Secrets Manager).
• Experience running production workloads in bare-metal or private datacenter environments.
• Familiarity with cost optimization and multi-cloud networking patterns (transit, peering, VPNs).
