Unity Developer

Role & responsibilities

  • Architect & Implement Gameplay Systems:

    Lead the design, planning, and implementation of core game mechanics, player controls, AI behaviors, and user interfaces from prototype to final release.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices:

    Write clean, efficient, reliable, and reusable C# code. Drive the quality of the codebase by participating in code reviews, establishing coding standards, and applying object-oriented design principles.
  • Cross-Platform Development:

    Develop, maintain, and optimize games for PC, Android, and iOS, ensuring a high-quality, responsive, and stable experience on all target platforms.
  • Performance Optimization:

    Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, and memory. Implement advanced optimization techniques to manage memory, draw calls, and space constraints effectively

Candidate Profile

  • Experience:

    3-8 years of professional game development experience using the Unity engine.
  • C# Proficiency:

    Expert-level knowledge of C# programming, including a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and design patterns.
  • Rendering:

    Strong experience with Unity's Scriptable Render Pipelines (URP/HDRP) and shader development (Shader Graph or HLSL)
  • Unity Engine Mastery:

    In-depth experience with the Unity Editor and its core systems, including Physics, Animation (Mecanim), UI (UGUI/UI Toolkit), and Scene Management.
  • Experience with

    Unity Terrain

    tools and implementing dynamic content loading systems like

    Scene Streaming

    and

    Asset Bundles

    to manage large worlds
  • Hands-on experience with networking solutions like Unity's Netcode for GameObjects (NGO).
  • Understanding of multiplayer services such as Unity Relay and Lobby for player connectivity.
  • Knowledge of server-authoritative architecture and fundamental networking concepts (latency, prediction, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with techniques for managing large-scale environments, such as Scene Streaming and Asset Bundles.
  • Practical application of optimization techniques including Level of Detail (LOD) systems, Occlusion Culling, and GPU/Draw Call Batching.
  • Mastery of the

    Unity Profiler

    to identify and resolve CPU spikes, memory leaks, and excessive garbage collection.
  • Knowledge of game protection technologies, gaming technologies and game design, code obfuscation, debugging, virtualization technologies, tamper proofing and watermarking.
  • Familiarity with Graphics APIs, such as DirectX12, Metal etc
