Job Description

About the Role:

Cloud Native Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and applications on platforms like
Kubernetes
,
Docker
, and public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines optimized for microservices and container-based deployments.
Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using
Terraform
,
Pulumi
, or similar tools.
Monitor and improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to containerize applications and adopt 12-factor principles.
Implement observability tools and practices including metrics, logs, and tracing.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and deployment tasks.
Ensure security and compliance across cloud-native infrastructure and processes.

Preferred Skills:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certifications.
Experience with
GitOps
workflows (e.g., Argo CD, Flux).
Exposure to
serverless
and
event-driven architectures
.
Familiarity with
service mesh
technologies (Istio, Linkerd, etc.).
Knowledge of
monitoring and logging
tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Loki, etc.).
Experience with security best practices in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
Understanding of policy as code (e.g., OPA/Gatekeeper).
