Cloud Lead

As an AWS Cloud Engineer at FICO, you will play a crucial role in the fast-paced state-of-the-art Cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, maintaining, and expanding infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaaC). - Overseeing systems and resources for alerting, logging, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring. - Collaborating with software engineering teams to build fault-tolerant and resilient services. - Enhancing the performance and durability of CI/CD pipelines. - Prioritizing security in all aspects of your work. - Being available for on-call assistance with engineering projects. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. - 7+ years of experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes. - Ability to design and implement automated solutions. - Experience in cloud-provider maintenance and deployment, preferably AWS. - Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using various tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Helm, etc. - Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC), particularly using Terraform or Crossplane. - Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. - Scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Bash. - Automation mindset with experience in API automation for administrative tasks. - Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk. This role at FICO will require you to work from the office for three days a week and have the flexibility to work from home for two days.
