Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Practice Lead with expertise in AI Ops (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations) to drive our Cloud and Infrastructure practice. The role demands strong client-facing skills, practice leadership, business development expertise (particularly in the US market), and hands-on knowledge of Cloud and AI Ops platforms. You will be responsible for defining practice strategy, presales engagement, delivery excellence, and building innovative solutions that align with organizational and customer needs.

This role requires excellent communication, thought leadership, and extensive global client exposure, with a strong focus on US market growth and enterprise-grade delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership

• Lead the Cloud & Infra practice including Cloud strategy, modernization, migration, and operations.
• Build and scale a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Cloud, Infrastructure, and AI Ops capabilities.
• Drive innovation by integrating AI Ops, automation, observability, and predictive analytics into service offerings.
• Mentor and groom architects, solution engineers, and delivery teams.
• Act as a thought leader by participating in seminars, webinars, research publications, and industry events.

Client Engagement & Presales

• Demonstrate excellent communication and client-facing personality, with the ability to understand client needs, recommend the right approach, estimate, and create winning proposals.
• Partner with sales and account teams for presales, RFP/RFI responses, client presentations, and solutioning.
• Design Cloud Transformation roadmaps, AI Ops integration strategies, and infrastructure modernization plans.
• Engage with global clients across North America, Europe with specific exposure to the US market, ensuring scalable, enterprise-grade delivery.
• Strong experience in business development and selling in the US market is a must.

Delivery & Operations

• Ensure delivery excellence for client engagements in Cloud, Datacenter, Infrastructure, and AI Ops domains.
• Oversee implementation of AI Ops tools (Moogsoft, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, ServiceNow AIOps, etc.) for proactive monitoring and automation.
• Establish governance, best practices, and operational frameworks for reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.

Strategic Initiatives

• Define practice growth strategy, partnerships, and alliances with Cloud & AI Ops platform providers.
• Develop accelerators, frameworks, and reusable assets to differentiate offerings.
• Track emerging trends in Cloud, Infra, Automation, AI Ops, and FinOps to enhance competitive positioning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Operations (experience is no bar for the right candidate).
• At least 5+ years in leadership / practice management roles.
• Cloud Azure expertise is a must (AWS/GCP knowledge is an added advantage).
• Proven experience in AI Ops adoption and transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to build proposals, solution architectures, and business cases.
• Strong business development and selling experience in the US market is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills with CXO-level engagement capability.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions to global clients across industries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications (Azure Architect-level mandatory; AWS/GCP optional).
• ITIL / TOGAF certification.
• Exposure to FinOps and Cloud Cost Optimization practices.
• Prior experience in setting up a Cloud & Infra CoE.
