Primary Cloud Skills

• Azure (Preferred Primary Cloud Platform)
• Azure DevOps & Automation: CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, boards, and test plans for end-to-end development lifecycle management
• Compute & Containers: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Machines/Scale Sets
• Monitoring & Networking: Azure Monitor, Azure Application Gateway & Front Door, Azure Container Registry
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and orchestration
• Azure Cost Management Tools: Azure Cost Management + Billing, Azure Advisor for cost optimization insights
• AWS Skills
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services: S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53, CloudTrail, ELB
• Good to Have: Lambda, CloudFormation, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodeDeploy, RDS
• Monitors and improves system stability, performance, and scalability using tools like Elastic & Datadog
• Refactors applications and configurations to align with cloud-native best practices

FinOps Requirements

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Cloud FinOps practices
• Ability to estimate and forecast cloud costs across environments
• Cloud Cost Management Tools: Azure Cost Management + Billing, AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, Cloudability
• Optimization & Visibility: Tagging strategies, building dashboards for spend visibility and anomaly detection
• Collaboration & Governance: Partner with finance, engineering, and product teams for cloud usage alignment and vendor management
• Experience with Harness platform for cost analysis and compare AWS & Azure.

DevOps & Automation

Mandatory Skills:

• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline setup and automation using CloudBees/Jenkins, Terraform Enterprise
• Experience with Version Control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN)
• AMI/VM Image Build using Packer
• Configuration management and automation using Ansible
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, and Python to automate infrastructure operations, configuration management and deployment workflows

Good to Have / Optional:

• Operating Systems: Linux/Windows
• Experience in migrating tools from on-prem to cloud
• Familiarity with release management tools and release/deployment automation
• Exposure to change management and scheduling
• Active participation in Agile ceremonies:.
