Cloud Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Manage and optimize networking components and security best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services and networking.
• Utilize VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and NSX for virtualization.
• Implement containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain documentation and provide support for cloud operations.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure and services
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and security groups
• Good knowledge of network security best practices and cloud governance
• Hands-on experience with VMware technologies such as vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and NSX
• Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation and operational tasks
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, and management)
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost
• Experience collaborating with application development and DevOps teams
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools in cloud environments
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
