Cloud Engineer - Azure / AWS L2

You will be responsible for ensuring the uptime and stability of Cloud Services. Your primary tasks will include deploying and managing Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS) according to client and industry standards, with a focus on security. You will collaborate with various functional teams within the client organization and adhere to defined ITIL processes and standards. Efficiently managing escalations, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with vendors will also be part of your role. Tracking and managing tickets raised with Cloud Service Providers (CSP), logging into Severity bridges, troubleshooting issues, providing interim solutions, and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports will be crucial responsibilities. Additionally, you will monitor Service Desk tickets related to cloud functions, provide regular updates to supervisors, and support decision-making processes. Mentoring subordinates, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and overseeing governance processes will be essential for this position. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-10 years of relevant experience working with at least two major cloud providers (Azure / AWS / GCP). You must be willing to work in rotational shifts and from the office six days a week, without pick-and-drop facility. Strong analytical skills, a quick learning ability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. A graduate degree is preferred, with a BE/BTech qualification considered an added advantage. Being a good team player with strong interpersonal skills is important for effective collaboration with colleagues. This position is based in Mumbai-Vikhroli or Thane. Your proactive approach to exploring automation opportunities, staying updated on emerging technologies, and identifying areas for enhancement will contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud operations. Conducting periodic reviews and feedback sessions with subordinates, assigning tasks, and fostering their professional development are integral parts of this role.,
