Cloud & DevOps Lead

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Strategy & Implementation:

   Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS cloud environments.

• Generative AI Initiatives:

   Lead adoption and integration of GenAI solutions into enterprise workflows and cloud systems.

• Kubernetes & Containerization:

   Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters with high availability, security, and automated scaling.

• Automation & CI/CD:

   Drive end-to-end automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• System Monitoring & Reliability:

   Implement and maintain advanced monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) ensuring high system uptime and performance.

• Python Development & Scripting:

   Build and maintain Python scripts for automation, integrations, and infrastructure management.

• Security & Compliance:

   Ensure compliance with best practices for cloud security, access control, and regulatory requirements.

• Team Leadership:

   Mentor DevOps engineers, foster a culture of innovation, and lead cross-team collaboration for high-impact projects.

• Emerging Tech Adoption:

   Evaluate new cloud, AI, and devops-related tools and frameworks for organizational innovation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience architecting and managing AWS cloud environments with services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SageMaker, and EKS.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code, and automation scripting (Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with Generative AI models, APIs, and AWS AI/ML services.
• Experience implementing robust security and compliance frameworks in cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of innovation and tech initiative ownership.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
