Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Cloud Architect (L3 SME)

to join our Cloud Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

cloud architecture, design, and implementation

, with hands-on experience across

AWS

and other major cloud platforms. This role involves leading cloud transformation initiatives, developing scalable and secure solutions, and guiding teams in adopting cloud best practices and modern infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement
cloud-native architectures
that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient across
AWS
and multi-cloud environments.
Lead the
migration, modernization, and optimization
of enterprise workloads to cloud platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define
cloud strategies
, solution blueprints, and technical standards.
Implement and manage
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like
Terraform
or
CloudFormation
.
Provide
technical leadership and mentorship
to cloud engineers and DevOps teams.
Ensure
cloud governance, compliance, and security
standards are followed across environments.
Design and integrate
CI/CD pipelines
and automation workflows to streamline deployment processes.
Architect and manage
containerized and microservices-based applications
using
Docker
and
Kubernetes
.
Partner with stakeholders to assess requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful delivery of cloud projects.
Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies, evaluating their applicability to organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor s degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (
Master s degree preferred
).
Strong experience in
IT operations
, with proven expertise in
cloud architecture and engineering
.
Deep hands-on experience with
AWS cloud platform
and familiarity with
Azure or Google Cloud
.
Strong understanding of
cloud architecture principles
, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency in
cloud services, tools, and technologies
(compute, storage, networking, IAM, etc.).
Experience with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.
Proficient in
containerization and orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with
DevOps tools and practices
(CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, etc.).
Strong knowledge of
cloud security
,
networking
, and
storage
solutions.
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Experience designing
multi-cloud
and
hybrid cloud
solutions.
Familiarity with
DevOps methodologies
, automation, and continuous integration.
Strong analytical mindset with a focus on
problem-solving and innovation

delivering high-quality, reliable solutions
