Job Description

SHIFTS- UK & US Flexible

Minimum Years of Experience: 8+ year(s)

Certifications Preferred: AWS Professional certifications, Terraform Expert, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, DevOps certifications, ITIL.

AWS architecture, DevOps strategy, Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD governance, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK), security frameworks, observability, and ITSM leadership.

Cloud Architecture & Operations

Lead design, implementation, and lifecycle management of AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, VPC).
Own cloud governance frameworks, operational standards, environment hardening, identity/security policies, and tagging compliance.
Oversee capacity planning, autoscaling strategies, and cloud cost optimization.

DevOps Leadership

Direct CI/CD strategy, release governance, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
Enforce Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
Lead container strategy (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm), logging, and monitoring best practices.

Reliability & Operational Excellence

Set and track operational KPIs (MTTR, MTTD, Deployment Frequency, Change Success Rate, CPU/Memory thresholds, uptime SLAs).
Oversee incident management, problem resolution, and 360 root-cause reviews.
Build and maintain observability dashboards (CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace).

ITSM Responsibilities

Chair CAB discussions for cloud changes.
Ensure compliance with Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Request processes.
Maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and decision logs.
