Rated “Good” by the CQC, SCRI is dedicated to advancing targeted and precision therapies for cancer patients.We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse or Clinical Trial Practitioner with proven experience in oncology trials to support our growing portfolio of early-phase studies.
Role Overview
You will deliver expert care to patients participating in clinical trials and play a key role in trial coordination, patient safety, and protocol adherence. This includes:
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating research care for oncology patients
- Acting as a key worker for trial participants, offering support throughout their treatment
- Ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical standards
- Collaborating with investigators and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring and managing side effects of investigational therapies
- Supporting recruitment and contributing to high-quality trial delivery
What We’re Looking For
- NMC registration (if applying as a Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical research, including early-phase trials
- Oncology trials experience – essential
- Chemotherapy competency (SACT Passport) if a Registered Nurse
- Experience in developing clinical pathways and policies
