Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Screen children visiting the site, enroll study participants and implement the study protocols
  • Support screening, enrollment and study compliance of participants recruited from the community
  • Support clinical care and follow-up investigations as per study protocol
  • Liaise between site and FMR
  • Training of other sample collectors
  • Support Site-PI and study investigators on all study activities
  • Contribute to writing scientific papers for publication

Preferred candidate profile

  • MBBS degree (freshers can also apply)
  • Ability to communicate in Marathi
  • Lives in or willing to relocate to Palghar District
  • *

    Note: Do not apply if not an MBBS

  • Experience in Paediatric or respiratory medicine
  • Good communication skills in English

Prior clinical research or patient care experience

  • Ability to communicate with children of different age groups.
  • Clinical data interpretation and documentation
  • Strong time management and organizational ability
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Problem-solving and resourcefulness

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of microbiology and molecular biology
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Familiarity with biosafety and laboratory quality control
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
