Job Description

The Nursing Care Analyst in Nursing and Patient Care Services holds the responsibility of analyzing and interpreting complex data elements to identify outcomes that aim to maximize safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care. This role involves designing and implementing computerized data collection systems, as well as conducting data trending, interpretation, and analysis of various nursing and clinical processes. Moreover, the analysis conducted by the Nursing Data Analyst includes providing recommendations for process or structural changes to enhance care outcomes. In addition to analyzing data, the Nursing Data Analyst is expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of database management and to implement the necessary policies and procedures to ensure the maintenance of appropriate records, reports, and analysis. Furthermore, the incumbent is responsible for independently preparing written reports and analyses that detail nursing performance and practice issues. The Nursing Data Analyst also provides technical support in the development and management of select databases. Furthermore, the Nursing Data Analyst is accountable for the maintenance and enhancement of the Nursing and Patient Care Services scorecards, which serve as the primary electronic tool for managing clinical and operational metrics within the department. Minimum Educational Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Operation Theatre, and Anesthesia Technology, as well as a Diploma in Nursing (GNM), Operation Theatre, and Anesthesia Technology. Candidates must also possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Clinical Oriented Environment. The ideal candidate should have operating knowledge of MS Office 2000 and a typing speed of 30+ words per minute. Strong written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, and typing skills with a speed of 30-35 words per minute are also essential. Mandatory requirements for this position include the willingness to work from the office, readiness to relocate before the start date, and comfort in working with data. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and offers a performance bonus. Prior experience of 1 year in Nursing is preferred. The work location for this role is in person.,
