The Nursing Care Analyst in Nursing and Patient Care Services holds the responsibility of analyzing and interpreting complex data elements to identify outcomes that aim to maximize safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care. This role involves designing and implementing computerized data collection systems, as well as conducting data trending, interpretation, and analysis of various nursing and clinical processes. Moreover, the analysis conducted by the Nursing Data Analyst includes providing recommendations for process or structural changes to enhance care outcomes. In addition to analyzing data, the Nursing Data Analyst is expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of database management and to implement the necessary policies and procedures to ensure the maintenance of appropriate records, reports, and analysis. Candidates must also possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Clinical Oriented Environment. The ideal candidate should have operating knowledge of MS Office 2000 and a typing speed of 30+ words per minute. Your key duties and responsibilities will include collaborating with clinical staff to assess current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and developing action plans. You will provide hands-on coaching to healthcare teams in implementing quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and process optimization. Additionally, you will offer guidance on the use of quality improvement tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of open communication and learning among healthcare professionals.
