Job Description

  • A Clerical Officer provides administrative and organizational support in an office environment by performing tasks such as filing, data entry, managing correspondence, answering phones, and scheduling appointments. They maintain records, operate office equipment like computers and printers, and serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of their department or organization. Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with office software are key skills for this role.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Office Administration: Performing general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and maintaining organized office records and supplies.
  • Communication: Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, answering phone calls, and responding to emails and inquiries from clients and colleagues.
  • Record-Keeping: Entering data into databases, managing digital and physical files, and ensuring all information and documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Scheduling: Assisting with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating appointments.
  • Office Equipment Operation: Proficiently using office machines such as computers, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
  • Support: Providing administrative, clerical, and secretarial support to managers and other team members.
  • Customer Service: Acting as a receptionist and providing excellent customer service to visitors and those contacting the office. Key Skills
