Clearing and Settlement Analyst, AVP

Role Overview: As a Clearing and Settlement Analyst, AVP at Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India, you will be responsible for day-to-day trade processing, settlements, and FX/cash processing for the DB Securities & Custody Operations team. This team supports both local and offshore clients of the GTB Custody Services. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the quality and quantity of processing is maintained as per client SLAs - Monitor volume inflow and allocate resources effectively - Serve as a technical operational expert for client and team queries - Develop mechanisms to handle volume peaks during peak seasons - Ensure tasks are closed within prescribed SLAs - Adhere strictly to all internal and external process guidelines, compliance, and legal regulations for a robust control environment - Identify and mitigate operational risks proactively - Create adequate backups for critical positions and support other teams during contingencies - Collaborate closely with process owners, stakeholders, and internal clients for the bank's overall business growth - Support people management and development as a top priority - Act as a role model for new employees and provide support for their integration - Support tough people decisions to align performance with organizational needs Qualifications Required: - Exposure to the Indian capital markets, settlements, or custody background preferred - Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in written and verbal communication - Graduate (BA/BS/B.Com, etc.) with 4 to 5 years of experience in the relevant field Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank fosters a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
