1) Involves handling and assessing claims, which includes identifying the type of claim and policy upon receipt, establishing initial contact with the insured or claimant, and carrying out video surveys to evaluate the cause and extent of losses. Claims are assessed in detail to ensure alignment with policy terms and conditions, followed by the preparation of necessary documentation such as Claim Notes and Repudiation Letters.
2) Effective coordination and communication play a key role in the job. This includes liaising with NW teams, surveyors, and investigators based on the complexity of the claim and ensuring smooth follow-ups for obtaining necessary reports and documents. Communication with insured individuals and claimants through calls and emails is essential for sharing updates and requirements.
3) resolving customer escalations with efficiency and empathy further ensures a seamless experience for clients. Timely resolution and adherence to turnaround times (TAT) are crucial aspects of this responsibility.
4) Maintaining accurate claim records, daily updates, and proper documentation through MIS is required for tracking progress and facilitating claims processing. Regular discussions with underwriting, NW, and operations teams help address issues proactively and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
