Role Overview: As an R&D Software Development Engineer at Dassault Systmes, you will be part of a global team working on developing a best-in-class Cloud application. Your role will involve developing, maintaining, and optimizing high-quality applications using C++ and Typescript. You will be responsible for both server-side development, focusing on building scalable applications in C++ and ensuring seamless connectivity with databases, as well as front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS to create responsive and interactive user interfaces. Additionally, you will work on performance optimization, reliability enhancement of software systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality applications using C++ and Typescript. - Server-Side Development: Build scalable, efficient server-side applications in C++, optimize performance, and ensure seamless connectivity with databases. - Solve problems related to 2D and 3D geometry, topology, numerical analysis, and manipulation of curves, surfaces, and boundary representation topology. - Front-End Development: Utilize JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS to develop responsive and interactive user interfaces. - Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, implement optimizations, and conduct performance testing. - Enhance the reliability of mature software systems. - Develop new algorithms to meet customer needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, and DevOps for seamless integration and deployment. Qualifications Required: - Masters/PhD in Engineering (Mechanical) or Masters/PhD in Mathematics. - Experience in C++ programming. - Strong aptitude in Geometry. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Exposure to the use of CAD/CAM/CAE Software. - Experience in OOPs, Data Structures, and Algorithms. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with local and remote teams. - Knowledge of Computational Geometry and Differential Geometry will be a plus.
