We are looking for an R&D Software Development Engineer with excellent software development skills to join a team developing a best-in-class Cloud application. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a global development team and participate in requirements analysis, software design, and implementation of software solutions and services for data management and visualization. This position is based in Pune, India. Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality applications using C++ and Typescript. Server-Side Development involves building scalable, efficient server-side applications, implementing backend logic in C++, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless connectivity with databases. Identify practical solutions to problems involving 2D and 3D geometry, topology, numerical analysis, manipulation of curves, surfaces, and boundary representation topology. Front-End Development includes utilizing JavaScript/ TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS to develop responsive and interactive user interfaces. Performance Optimization requires identifying bottlenecks in applications, implementing optimizations, and conducting performance testing to ensure high-quality output. Enhancing reliability of mature and complex software systems is also a key responsibility. Develop new algorithms that will meet the growing needs of customers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, QA, and DevOps, is essential to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Qualifications/Experience: Masters/PhD in Engineering (Mechanical) OR Masters/PhD in Mathematics. Experience in C++ programming, strong aptitude in Geometry, strong analytical & problem-solving skills, exposure to the use of CAD/CAM/CAE Software, experience in OOPs, Data Structures, Algorithms, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work as a team, collaborate with other local/remote teams. Knowledge in Computational Geometry and Differential Geometry will be a plus.
