Job Description

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide Owners oversight of civil and structural works for the Green Ammonia project, ensuring consultants and contractors’ designs meet safety, compliance, quality, and constructability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Review civil/structural designs and drawings, including foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, and buildings.
Verify compliance with international codes (ACI, AISC, IS codes, Eurocode) and site-specific geotechnical requirements.
Provide guidance on constructability, maintainability, and lifecycle considerations.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering sessions.
Monitor contractor’s progress and quality of deliverables.
Support site teams during construction and resolve field engineering issues.
Interface with regulatory authorities, consultants, and contractors.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Masters in Structural Engineering is a plus.
10–18 years of experience in design, review, and execution of industrial projects, preferably in a design and engineering firm.
Prior PMC/Owner’s Engineer experience preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong working knowledge of structural analysis/design tools.

Preferred Skills

Excellent analytical skills with ability to foresee design and execution risks.
Strong technical and coordination skills with contractors and design consultants.
Knowledge of industrial safety and environmental compliance requirements.

Travel & Visa

20–30% international travel plus domestic site visits.
US B1/B2 Visa holder preferred.
