Civil Site Supervisor

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operations on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proactive approach will be crucial in managing teams and resources effectively. Your key responsibilities will include supervising all on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. You will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain a smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials. Monitoring workforce performance, conducting regular inspections, and maintaining daily site logs are essential tasks you will handle. Additionally, you will report project status, risks, and issues to the Project Manager regularly, resolve on-site conflicts, and address employee concerns effectively. Ensuring the proper use of tools, machinery, and materials, as well as assisting in training and onboarding new workers when required, are also part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar position. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles is required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans, along with strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations is crucial, and proficiency in MS Office and construction/project management software is advantageous. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, while a Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred. Possessing relevant certifications such as OSHA, First Aid, or CSCS is considered a plus. This is a full-time position that requires work to be done in person.,
