Role Description

To oversee and execute civil construction activities for retail store developments, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.



Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution & Supervision:

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure work aligns with architectural and structural drawings.
  • Monitor progress and resolve on-site issues promptly.


Vendor & Contractor Coordination:

  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to align teams.


Layout Understanding & Execution:

  • Review architectural and interior layout drawings to confirm dimensions and positioning.
  • Work closely with design teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate layout execution on-site.
  • Set out site measurements and control benchmarks for layout precision.


Quality & Safety Compliance:

  • Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct audits.
  • Address non-compliance and implement corrective actions.


Project Planning & Reporting:

  • Prepare and update project schedules and milestones.
  • Track resource usage and maintain documentation.
  • Report progress to project managers and stakeholders.


Stakeholder Communication:

  • Coordinate with Project Manager & HOD, and brand representatives.
  • Resolve design and execution-related queries.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in site execution, preferably in retail or commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with mall construction protocols is a plus.



Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Project, and site management tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and teams simultaneously.
