Civil Head - Metals

We are seeking a seasoned Civil Engineering professional to lead all civil and structural works for our Copper Recycling plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling Greenfield/Brownfield projects in the metals or large-scale process manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the civil engineering function for the copper recycling project from concept to commissioning.

Review and approve design/drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.

Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors for timely and quality execution.

Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.

Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress; mitigate risks proactively.

Coordinate with internal stakeholder's mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.

Lead site-level civil audits, quality inspections, and timely resolution of issues.

Optimize layout planning, drainage, roads, foundations, and structural requirements specific to copper recycling.

Ensure compliance with environmental norms and sustainability standards in civil works.

Manage civil maintenance aspects post-commissioning, including periodic shutdown work.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute.

Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in the metals/recycling/process plant industry.

Proven track record of leading Greenfield/Brownfield industrial projects.

Strong project management, vendor management, and team leadership skills.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, and other civil engineering tools.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in non-ferrous/copper/metals sector will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of structural design codes, soil investigation reports, and stormwater management systems.

Exposure to civil works in environmental clearance-driven projects.
